How to Remove Aluminum?

How Is Aluminum Obtained?
First of all, aluminum is found in nature in a pure state. To obtain aluminum, you need bauxite ore. The ores are mined from where the bauxite ore is. The ores are then processed and aluminum is obtained. That's why we can't talk about a direct aluminum extraction. Instead, we can start by extracting bauxite, the ore from which aluminum is obtained. After that, the process moves towards obtaining aluminum.After the aluminum is extracted, it is first turned into a pure aluminum by the processes it sees. After it is brought into this state, it will be made into use, that is, what we see in many places.

What Processes Does Aluminum Go Through?
We can talk about 3 stages in total to obtain aluminum.
1-) First of all, a bauxite ore is found to obtain aluminum. Bauxite ores are found in various cities in Turkey. Bauxite ore mined from the ground is the beginning for aluminum
2-) After the bauxites are removed, they are turned into alumina. Instead, they can be made into aluminum oxide.
3-) In the last stage, pure aluminum is produced from bauxite ores that have been turned into alumina or aluminum oxide, by means of electrolytic reduction method.

All three steps are necessary to obtain an aluminum. Aluminum in its pure form can be obtained after the completion of the three stages. To explain these stages from a different perspective, first of all, bauxite is mined, and the Bayer method is applied to the mined mine. Alumina is obtained by the Bayer method. After the first stage is passed with this method, the electrolysis method is applied in the second stage and aluminum is obtained from alumina. It should be noted that a very high amount of energy is required to produce an aluminum. Therefore, the aluminum production process is a complex and costly process. Instead, recycling systems should be used if the cost is desired to be reduced much lower. While recycling, the metals taken are melted and thus aluminum is recovered. By processing bauxite ore, only 5% of the cost of producing aluminum can be obtained from recycling with energy.
